Choosing to live a healthy life doesn’t mean you need to live a life of deprivation. Being healthy involves our mind, spirit and heart just as much as it involves our body.
We need to understand when we work for a healthy body, it's not because we are overweight and want to look slim or because our doctor suggested it. Rather, we have to love ourselves, take good care of our health and understand that our way of living and eating can impact our mind and eventually our life as well.
A few years ago, I decided to take a challenge to make myself healthier than I was. Honestly, it wasn't a big deal for me because I was already the kind of person who used to take good care of details of what I ate.
But I wasn't really devoted to doing any physical activities and that was quite unfortunate. At only 22 years of age, I could hear my heart pumping so fast just because I took few stairs. At that moment, I asked myself how I want to see myself after 5 years? That old weak girl who will feel tired doing simple things or a strong girl who can walk or run for hours and doesn’t feel exhausted.
Since that time, I have worked into the new me who is filled with constructive energy and a focused mind. Staying fit and healthier has become like a drug I am addicted to but in a positive manner.
However, in this article I didn't wish to talk about healthy living tips or eating mistakes because you don't need me to tell about all that and I am sure if you want to know more, you will find a lot of articles online which can help you more on this matter because it's their specialization.
So I chose to talk about this because I believe that all of us have the passion for making ourselves better than what we are. And with some care, we can lead a healthy and more importantly, a happy life.
With all love from Sara, see you soon with more new interesting topics.
And please don't forget, seek your happiness <3.
